There are three partial terms on the Conservation Committee. Two terms expire November 30, 2020, one partial term expires November 30, 2021. The committee meets on the second Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the Clinton Township Civic Center. The purpose of the committee shall be to preserve and maintain in an undisturbed and natural condition the watercourses, wetlands, floodplains, wildlife and other natural resources within the Township.
Interested individuals, must complete an Application for Appointment which can be downloaded off the web site at www.clintontownship.com (click the dropdown menu under “Departments” and then click on “Township Committees”. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “Application for Appointment”) or obtain one from the Administrative Assistant’s Office. The deadline to submit an application is August 25, 2019. All applications received by the Administrative Assistant will be distributed to all board members after the deadline of posting has been met and will be included in the Board of Trustee’s agenda packet which is publicly available.
An invitation will be extended to all applicants to attend the Board of Trustee’s meeting on September 9, 2019 for an “Introduction of Appointment Applicants. The “Appointments to the Conservation Committee”, will be on the Board of Trustee’s agenda for the September 30, 2019 meeting.
