The Civil Service employment application is for Civil Service positions ONLY. The Employees Civil Service Office accepts civil service applications for all positions within the township at any time. Applications may be printed, filled out and returned by mail, fax or in person and must be signed. Online application processing is not available at this time but is coming in the near future.

Applications for Parks & Recreation seasonal positions are accepted from January - March only. The Parks & Recreation Department will post their department specific application for seasonal positions on the Recreation page under the Applications & Forms section. The application will be available only during their hiring time.

Election Clerk II
The Charter Township of Clinton has a job opening for an Election Clerk II. Under the general supervision of the Township Clerk and/or Deputy Clerk, this position assists with the Clerk’s Office relative to the administration of all Township, County, State and Federal elections held in the Township. In addition, this position maintains voter information and history. The Charter Township of Clinton Act 78 Police & Fire Civil Service Commission will be testing for the position of Police Officer to create an Eligibility List for future employment opportunities, beginning July 21, 2014. To apply and schedule a test for this position, go to the website https://www.empco.net/testing/ and follow the instructions. There is a fee to take the examination, but results of this one test will be accepted by all participating police departments in Michigan.
