There is one term expiring on the Compensation Commission for Township Elected Officials.This is a five year term to expire on August 14, 2024. The Commission shall determine the salary of each Township elected official unless the Township Board by resolution adopted by two thirds of the members elected to and serving on the Board rejects the determination.

Clinton Township has an opening for a Election Coordinator whom under the general supervision of the Township Clerk and/or Deputy Clerk, this position assists the Clerk’s Office relative to the administration of all Township, County, State and Federal elections held in the Township. In addition, this position maintains voter information and history, assists with a variety of election related duties and acts as a liaison with the Bureau of Elections. Election Coordinator Job Description Installation of the Sewer Bypass Discharge Pipe to the MID:
A temporary traffic shift for northbound Garfield Road at Canal Road is scheduled to occur on Tuesday 7/17 to 7/19 for sanitary sewer related work. Expect northbound and southbound lanes of Garfield Road to be reduced to one lane at Canal Road. Left turns at the Garfield/Canal intersection will not be permitted during that time. An alternate route is advised during this work. Work is expected to take 2-3 days. Once all work is complete, both northbound and southbound lanes and all center turn lanes will be reopened to traffic. Approximately 100 feet of center turn lane will remain closed 500 feet north of Canal Road for the duration of the project. Sewer Cleaning, CCTV and CIPP Lining: A sewer evaluation and rehabilitation project is scheduled to start on Friday, July 20th. Motorists should expected right lane closures on northbound Garfield Road from Clinton River Road to Canal Road. Delays should be expected during this time. The locations of the lane closures will vary throughout the duration of the project and may be intermittent during various project phases. The project is estimated to take 4-5 weeks. All driveways to businesses and residences will be open at all times throughout the course of the project. There is one open term on the Historical Commission. This term expires April 13, 2021. The committee meets the fourth Monday of the month, 6:00 p.m., at the Clinton-Macomb Public Library Local History Room. The deadline to submit an application is September 7, 2018.
