Clinton Township has upcoming vacancies that will be available on the Conservation Committee and the Economic Development Corporation.
There is one vacant term on the Conservation Committee. The term expires November 30, 2020. The committee meets on the second Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the Clinton Township Civic Center. The purpose of the committee shall be to preserve and maintain in an undisturbed and natural condition the watercourses, wetlands, floodplains, wildlife and other natural resources within the Township. There are two vacant terms on the Economic Development Corporation. One term expires July 10, 2018 and the other term expires July 10, 2019. The committee meets the second Tuesday of the month, 7:30 a.m., at the Township Civic Center. The purpose of the EDC is to encourage economic growth and development in the community, particularly industrial based. It is also to review tax exemptions for industrial businesses.
