Installation of the Sewer Bypass Discharge Pipe to the MID:
A temporary traffic shift for northbound Garfield Road at Canal Road is scheduled to occur on Tuesday 7/17 to 7/19 for sanitary sewer related work. Expect northbound and southbound lanes of Garfield Road to be reduced to one lane at Canal Road. Left turns at the Garfield/Canal intersection will not be permitted during that time. An alternate route is advised during this work. Work is expected to take 2-3 days. Once all work is complete, both northbound and southbound lanes and all center turn lanes will be reopened to traffic. Approximately 100 feet of center turn lane will remain closed 500 feet north of Canal Road for the duration of the project. Sewer Cleaning, CCTV and CIPP Lining: A sewer evaluation and rehabilitation project is scheduled to start on Friday, July 20th. Motorists should expected right lane closures on northbound Garfield Road from Clinton River Road to Canal Road. Delays should be expected during this time. The locations of the lane closures will vary throughout the duration of the project and may be intermittent during various project phases. The project is estimated to take 4-5 weeks. All driveways to businesses and residences will be open at all times throughout the course of the project. Comments are closed.
