This survey is designed to collect information about how the residents of Clinton Township feel about the implementation of green infrastructure in your community. Green infrastructure is an approach to water management that protects, restores, or mimics the natural water cycle. Green infrastructure is effective, economical, and enhances community safety and quality of life. It means planting native species and installing green stormwater infrastructure, like permeable pavement and rain gardens to reduce the amount of run off that enters local waterways each time it rains. This is mainly to protect the quality of the Clinton River and Lake St. Clair, reduce localized flooding, and lower the local cost of water management rather than building a costly new water treatment plant.
